DIAMOND
In ancient times, diamonds were believed to be fragments of stars and the tear drops of the Gods. They were believed to possess magical qualities with powers far beyond the understanding of common man. Throughout time they have been treasured for their beauty and powers.
Known as the hardest natural substance on Earth, diamonds take billions of years to form deep in the earth. Very few diamonds survive the trip from the depths of earth to the crust where they can be mined. No two diamonds are the same.
The word diamond derives from the Greek word “adamas,” which means invincible or indestructible.
Diamonds are believed to inspire imagination and ingenuity to its wearer. It also brings strength, fortitude, courage, and invincibility and has the power to drive away bad energy and cure aliments.
Diamond is the birthstone of April.
